2011 BMW 750i ActiveHybrid Owner’s Manual and specifications : Powered by a three-phase electric motor and a twin turbo V8, the ActiveHybrid 7 produces a combined output of 455 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 puts out 440 horsepower and 475 lb-ft. of torque on its own, while the electric motor provides a 20 horsepower, 155 lb-ft of torque boost. The ActiveHybrid 7 has not yet been EPA certified, but BMW says it should achieve a 15 percent increase in fuel economy, which would be roughly 16 city, and 24 highway mpg.
