The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee continues essentially unchanged from the previous model year. The Overland trim is discontinued. The Grand Cherokee offers a lackluster 3.7-liter V6, and a powerful 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The best choice is the 4.7-liter V8, which returned 15 mpg overall. Handling is secure and the ride is sound. The rear seat is too low to give adequate support. Fit and finish is disappointing. ESC and curtain air bags are standard. A 2011 redesign arrives in spring 2010. It is going to be roomier, with a nicer interior and a new V6 engine.
